So, the poppy pillow got bumped again (I think I’m intimidated by doing that beautiful fabric justice). A quick felt project won out again. I’ve been thinking about my summer trip to Bali and somewhere along the line decided that I had to have a passport holder. My friend Michelle found a cute & easy pattern and away I went.
Still thinking of Japan, I embroidered three origami cranes on the front in Sashiko style.
From there it was just cutting a few pockets, stitching them on, and stitching the two sides together (with some help from my other new friend – double sided fusible interfacing). And ta da! one travel document wallet.
It has pockets for my passport, nexus card or ID and boarding pass.
I can’t wait to put it to use!
